I'm excited to be a part of this important event!  If you are in New Jersey come help out a great cause! HOBOKEN – It's Broadway's turn to come to the aid of Hurricane Sandy-ravaged Boys & Girls Club of Hoboken.

Broadway actors will perform a night of cabaret at the Beacon in Jersey City next week to help the Boys & Girls Club of Hoboken recover from the superstorm.

The Beacon will host the two “Broadway at the Beacon” shows on Monday, Dec. 10, at 7 and 9 p.m., at the Great Room, 4 Beacon Way at Montgomery Street.

Performers include Bret Shuford from "Beauty and the Beast'' and “The Little Mermaid”; T. Oliver Reid, “Mary Poppins” and “Damn Yankees”; Tari Kelly, "Anything Goes" and “Thoroughly Modern Millie"; Savannah Wise, Ragtime," “Rock of Ages” and NBC's “Smash”; and Catherine Walker, "Ragtime," and "Mary Poppins."

There will be a performance by the Spangles Dance Company, founded by Debbie and Teddy Spangles, which honors the '80s troupe by the same name.

All ticket proceeds will go to restoring the Boy and Girls Club of Hoboken, which is facing an estimated repair bill of $250,000 following flooding during the superstorm.

The club’s quest for recovery has already attracted the help of Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and former NFL star Tiki Barber, who cleaned and painted the club last month.

Tickets are $65 and include wine and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are available online.
